My last day I ever had a drink was June 3rd, 1996.My first day without drinking was June 4th, 1996.It was scary, but I was even more scared of dying from alcoholism.I was so scared of dying that I thought I'd try living for a change.Alcoholics Anonymous saved my life.AA showed me how to live life without drinking or drugging.This is a collection of my diary entries during my first twenty-five years of sobriety.What "it" used to be like, what happened, and what "it's" like now.I write a blog on Facebook that tells my story. I've been urged to collect them all into a book.Many who read it is shown that they aren't alone, that this helps them in their recovery.There are others too, who tell me that my writings also gave them some insight on their own alcoholics.I am happy to say with all that I have gone through in this journey, I am still sober today.This is how I did "it".My name is Wm.
